Remote Access to Cornell College network resources is available for Cornell College employees using College-issued computers. Student access to remote resources is considered on a case by case basis and must be requested by a sponsoring employee.

VPN (Virtual Private Network) is the preferred connectivity method. Just take your College-issued laptop with you and access resources like shared drives through a secure VPN tunnel.

Remote Desktop access is also available. Although it requires more up-front setup, it will allow you to connect from your home PC or Mac to your on-campus Windows laptop.

College-Owned Devices

Cornell College owned laptops will automatically connect to the CornellOwnedDevices WiFi network. If you find your device is not connecting, please enter an IT Help Desk ticket, and our staff will assist as soon as possible.
